Recently went to watch a movie call Avatar. At first, never plan to watch this movie, because it give me a feeling is just another animation movie. But after so many friends recommendation and newspaper mention is another new era movie, so I decided to watch it. Went to purchase the ticket from Ecurve, previously used to call as Cineleisure. There is a movie theater name Cathay Cineplexe. The price is quite reasonable, is just RM11 per ticket. Since I have Amex Card, there is extra RM3 discount per ticket. What a good deal :)
What the story about? Firm is set in year 2154 on Pandora, a fincitonal planet. We, humans are mining Pandora's precious mineral. Pandora basiclly is a home to Na'vi, a sentient humanoid race. Jake Sully is a former U.S. Marine who was wounded and paralyzef from the combat on Earth. Jake is selected to particapte in the Avatar program, which will enable him to walk. The Avatar suppose belong to his brother who was pass away. Human are unable to breathe the air on Pandora, therefore they have created genetically-bread human Navi known as Avatar. There is war between human with Na'vi. How Jake decide his destinay? May refer to wikepedia for the film information.
